Visit the Chrome Web Store, search for "Claude Toolbox", and click "Add to Chrome" (works on all Chromium browsers - Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc, and more). The extension installs in seconds and starts working immediately on claude.ai. No account creation required for the free plan.
Yes. Claude Toolbox works with Anthropic's Claude web interface at claude.ai, including all Claude plans (Free, Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise). It enhances the existing Claude interface with search, bookmarks, and export capabilities.
Claude Toolbox works on all Chromium-based browsers - Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc, Vivaldi, and others. Firefox and Safari are not supported at this time, but we are evaluating future browser support based on user demand.

Claude Toolbox adds full-text search across all your synced Claude conversations. Toggle exact-match for precise phrase matching. Free users see up to 5 results per query; Premium gives unlimited results.
Bookmark individual messages within any Claude conversation and jump back to them with a single click. The bookmarked message scrolls into view with a highlight animation. Free users can bookmark messages in up to 2 conversations; Premium users get unlimited bookmarks.
Premium users can export any Claude conversation as TXT (plain text transcript) or JSON (structured data with message metadata for analysis or programmatic access).
Claude Toolbox's UI is available in 10 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Hebrew, and Hindi. Arabic and Hebrew are fully supported with right-to-left (RTL) layout.
It complements it. Claude's native search finds conversations by title on all plans including free. On paid plans (Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise), Claude also offers conversational RAG search via natural-language queries, scoped per-project. Claude Toolbox adds full-text search across all message content with exact-match toggle - something Claude's native search does not offer on any plan.

Security & Privacy
Your Claude conversations are indexed and stored locally in your browser via IndexedDB. We cannot see, access, or store your conversation content. The only data sent to our servers is your account email to verify your subscription status.
Yes. All conversation data stays in your browser. We comply with GDPR requirements including data access, rectification, erasure, and portability rights. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Uninstalling removes all locally stored data from your browser immediately, including the search index, bookmarks, and settings. If you had a paid subscription, email [email protected] to request deletion of your account email from our payment records.
