Does AI Toolbox send my Gemini conversations anywhere?
No. Conversations are indexed and searched locally in your browser and are never stored on our servers. Only what you build in the extension (folder names, bookmarks, prompts, tags, settings) syncs to your account, encrypted at rest. PDF export is the one exception: the conversation is sent to our server to render the file and returned without a copy being kept.
Do I need to enable the Gemini module?
Once. Open the AI Toolbox popup, flip the Gemini toggle and approve Chrome's one-time permission prompt for gemini.google.com. One install covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok; each module is a toggle.
Does AI Toolbox work in Edge, Brave or Firefox?
It installs from the Chrome Web Store into any Chromium browser: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera and Arc. There is no Firefox version.
