What Grok models are available in 2026?
xAI's current Grok lineup is Grok 4.5, Grok 4.3, Grok 4.20, Grok 4.1 Fast, Grok 4 Heavy. Grok 4.5 is the newest and most capable chat model; Grok 4.3 adds a 1 million token context with video input and document generation; Grok 4.20 and Grok 4.1 Fast carry a 2 million token context; Grok 4 Heavy is the multi-agent model behind the SuperGrok Heavy tier. Grok 3 and Grok 2 are superseded.
Which Grok model should I use?
For the strongest reasoning and coding, Grok 4.5. For very long documents or video input, Grok 4.3 or Grok 4.20 with their larger windows. For speed and volume, Grok 4.1 Fast. Grok 4 Heavy runs several agents in parallel and is only on the SuperGrok Heavy plan. The lineup guide above walks through each choice.
What do the Grok plans cost?
Grok has a free tier with usage caps, SuperGrok at about $30 a month, and SuperGrok Heavy at about $300 a month for the multi-agent Grok 4 Heavy model and the highest limits. Does the model I use change how AI Toolbox works?
