3 steps to your first win

Pinning takes five seconds. Then open your AI and make your first real move: pull years of conversations out in one bulk export. Here is the whole path.

  1. Pin the extension

    Click the puzzle piece icon in the top right of your browser. Find AI Toolbox in the list and click the pin icon next to it. The AI Toolbox icon will now stay visible in your toolbar.

  2. Open the popup, choose your platforms

    Click the AI Toolbox icon to open the popup. ChatGPT is on by default. Toggle on Claude, Gemini or Grok to use AI Toolbox there. Chrome will ask for permission the first time. That is normal.

  3. Bulk export your first conversations

    Open your AI and click the round AI Toolbox button in the bottom-right corner, then Manage Chats. Select a few conversations and export them to PDF, Markdown, TXT, or JSON in one click. Bulk export is part of Premium; on the free plan, any single chat exports as TXT on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok. Watch exactly how below.

Click the AI Toolbox icon in the top right of your Chrome toolbar. If you cannot see it, click the puzzle piece icon to expand all extensions, then click the pin next to AI Toolbox to keep it visible at all times.

Chrome treats access to each AI website as a separate permission. The first time you turn on AI Toolbox for Claude, Gemini or Grok, Chrome asks you to approve access to claude.ai, gemini.google.com, or x.com, twitter.com and grok.com for Grok. This is normal browser security. AI Toolbox only requests access to the AI site you are turning on and nothing else.

Your conversations stay in your browser and are never stored on our servers. Three features send the one chat you pick for processing and keep nothing afterwards: PDF export, Context Mentions on a long chat, and Carry this chat forward. What syncs to your account is what you build in the extension, such as folder names, prompts and chat IDs, never the conversations themselves.

Click the AI Toolbox icon to open the popup, then toggle off the platform you want to disable. The toolbox stops appearing on that AI site immediately. You can toggle it back on any time.

Make sure the platform is toggled on in the popup, then reload the AI site tab. If the toolbox still does not appear, restart your browser. If the issue continues, email [email protected] with your browser version and we will help you fix it.

Not necessarily. One AI Toolbox account works on all four platforms, and the free plan gives you the core features everywhere. Premium is bought per platform, or you can unlock all four platforms in one purchase with All Access.

No. AI Toolbox runs on Chromium browsers only. That means Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, and Arc. Firefox and Safari are not supported.
