How to accept your AI Toolbox team invite (for members)

For members. Install AI Toolbox first, then open your invite email in the same browser and click "Accept Invitation". There is no account or password to create. Accepting turns on Premium in that browser. To use your seat in another browser later, go to ai-toolbox.co/teams/member and click Email me a sign-in link.

Step by step

  1. Open the invite email in the right browser

    Use the computer and browser where AI Toolbox is installed. Open your email there and find the message with the subject "You've been invited to" followed by your team name.

    You should see: An email that shows your address next to Invited Email and a big "Accept Invitation" button.

  2. Click Accept Invitation

    Click the "Accept Invitation" button in the email. A page opens on ai-toolbox.co. You don't need to sign in or make a password.

    You should see: The page says Accepting invite... for a moment, then says You've joined, followed by your team name.

  3. Check that AI Toolbox turned on

    If the page says Your AI Toolbox extension is activated in this browser., you are done. Click Open ChatGPT.

    If it says Install the AI Toolbox extension in this browser to finish setting up your seat., click Install AI Toolbox and add it. Come back to the same tab and click I've installed it - activate.

    You should see: The message Your AI Toolbox extension is activated in this browser. and an Open ChatGPT button.

    Keep this tab open until it says activated. The invite link works only once.

  4. Reload your AI site

    Open or reload ChatGPT. Look at the small label above the round AI Toolbox button in the bottom-right corner.

    You should see: The label says TEAM instead of FREE, and every Premium feature is unlocked.

  5. Turn on Claude, Gemini and Grok

    AI Toolbox starts on ChatGPT only. To use your seat on the other sites, click the AI Toolbox icon at the top right of your browser and switch them on. See Turn on AI Toolbox for Claude, Gemini and Grok.

    You should see: The AI Toolbox button, with the TEAM label, on Claude, Gemini and Grok too.

  6. Use your seat in another browser

    Install AI Toolbox in the new browser. Go to ai-toolbox.co/teams/member, or click On a Teams plan? Activate your seat at the bottom of any AI Toolbox upgrade window.

    Type your team email in Email and click Email me a sign-in link. Open the email "Your AI Toolbox sign-in link" in that same browser and click "Sign in". The link works once, for 15 minutes.

    You should see: A page that says your team seat is active and you can close the tab. If it says Almost there, check AI Toolbox is installed and click Retry.

That's it. You have finished every tutorial in this section.

If something doesn't look right

I accepted in a browser without AI Toolbox and closed the tab

You are still on the team. Install AI Toolbox, then go to ai-toolbox.co/teams/member, type your email and click Email me a sign-in link. Open the link in that browser.

It says This invite link has expired

Invites work for 7 days. Ask your admin to send a new one. See Team troubleshooting.

AI Toolbox still says FREE after I joined

Reload the AI site. If it still says FREE, AI Toolbox may be in a different browser or browser profile than the one you accepted in. Get a sign-in link at ai-toolbox.co/teams/member and open it where AI Toolbox is installed.

The sign-in link says Sign-in link expired

Each link works once, for 15 minutes. Go back to ai-toolbox.co/teams/member and click Email me a sign-in link again.

It says Too many attempts, please try again in a few minutes

Many people on your network opened invites at the same time. Wait a few minutes, then click the "Accept Invitation" button in your email again. Your invite still works.

A banner says Team session expired

Your seat works in up to 2 browsers at once. Signing in on a third one signs out the oldest. Click Sign in on the banner and request a new link.

Free and Premium

Your team pays for your seat. It unlocks every Premium feature on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok, plus your team's shared prompts.

  • No account or password: the invite email and sign-in links are how you get in.
  • Invites work for 7 days and only once. Sign-in links work for 15 minutes and only once.
  • Your seat works in up to 2 browsers at the same time.
  • One email can be on only one AI Toolbox team.
  • Desktop Chromium browsers only, such as Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera. No phones.

How do I join my team on AI Toolbox?

Install AI Toolbox in your browser, then open the invite email from your admin in that same browser and click Accept Invitation. The page confirms you joined and turns on Premium right away. Reload ChatGPT and the label above the AI Toolbox button changes from FREE to TEAM.

Do I need a password for AI Toolbox Teams?

No. AI Toolbox Teams members never create a password. You join by clicking the button in your invite email. For another browser, you request a one-time sign-in link at ai-toolbox.co/teams/member. Only owners and admins have a password, for the admin dashboard.

How do I use my AI Toolbox team seat on another computer?

Install AI Toolbox on the other computer, then go to ai-toolbox.co/teams/member and ask for a sign-in link with your team email. Open the link in that browser within 15 minutes. Your AI Toolbox Teams seat works in up to 2 browsers at the same time.

Can I use my personal ChatGPT account with AI Toolbox Teams?

Yes. AI Toolbox Teams Premium is tied to your seat in the browser, not to your ChatGPT account, so it works with any ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok account. Team usage numbers only count you when your ChatGPT email matches the email your admin invited.

Where is the Teams sign-in in the AI Toolbox extension?

The AI Toolbox extension has no sign-in screen. Members join from their invite email or from a sign-in link at ai-toolbox.co/teams/member. As a shortcut, every AI Toolbox upgrade window has a link at the bottom called On a Teams plan? Activate your seat, which opens that page.
