How to start an AI Toolbox Teams plan (for admins)

For admins. Go to the Teams page, pick how many seats you need (2 to 1,000) and click the Start with button. On the order page, tick the terms box and click Start the team plan. After checkout you are the team owner, and an email brings your admin login with a temporary password.

Step by step

  1. Open the Teams page

    Go to pricing and Teams. Click Start your team at the top of the page. It takes you down to the seat picker.

    You should see: Two buttons, Monthly and Annual, and a seat number with a minus button on one side and a + button on the other.

  2. Choose how often you pay

    Click Monthly to pay each month, or Annual to pay once a year for a lower price per seat.

    You should see: The button you picked is highlighted, and the price per seat changes to match.

  3. Pick your number of seats

    Click + to add a seat, or the minus button to take one away. You can also click the number and type it.

    Count yourself too: the person who pays uses one seat. The smallest team is 2 seats, and you can buy up to 1,000 seats here. For a bigger team, click Talk to sales.

    You should see: The total under the number changes as you add or remove seats.

  4. Click the Start with button

    Click the big button under the seat picker. It shows your number, for example Start with 5 seats. An order page opens.

    You should see: An order page with How many seats? near the top and a list called What you get.

    The order page has a 10-minute timer. If it runs out before you pay, it sends you back to the home page and you start again.

  5. Check the order and agree to the terms

    You can still change the seats and Monthly or Annual here. Check the seats and total under Plan Details.

    Then tick the box that starts with I agree to the Terms of Service. Until you tick it, the button says Agree to the terms to continue.

    You should see: The button changes to Start the team plan followed by your total.

  6. Pay in the secure checkout window

    Click Start the team plan. A checkout window from Polar, our payment company, opens on top of the page. Type your email and card details and confirm.

    Use the email you want to sign in to the admin dashboard with. That email becomes the team owner. New teams start with a 14-day free trial, and the first charge comes when it ends.

    You should see: A page that says Trial started. or Payment received. with a button called Open the admin dashboard.

  7. Find your welcome email

    Within a few minutes you get an email with the subject "Welcome to AI Toolbox Teams: your admin credentials". It shows your email, a temporary password and a sign-in link.

    Your team is called My Organization at first. You can rename it after you sign in. Next, follow Sign in to the admin dashboard.

    You should see: The welcome email in your inbox. If you can't find it, look in your spam folder.

If something doesn't look right

The order page sent me back to the home page

The order page has a 10-minute timer, and it sends you home when the time runs out. Go back to pricing and Teams, pick your seats again and click the Start with button. Nothing was charged.

It says The checkout didn't open

Click Start the team plan again. If it keeps happening, email [email protected] and the team will help you finish your order.

I never got the welcome email

Look in your spam folder first. If it is not there, go to ai-toolbox.co/enterprise/login, click Forgot password?, type the email you paid with and click Send Reset Link. The reset link works for 1 hour.

The dashboard says Setting up your team

Your payment is still being linked to your team. Wait a few seconds and the dashboard opens by itself. If it then says No Teams Subscription, wait a minute and reload the page. If it stays, email [email protected].

I typed the wrong email at checkout

Email [email protected] with the email you used and the one you want. The team can move the owner login to the right address.

Free and Premium

This is for the person who pays, who becomes the team owner. Every Teams seat includes all Premium features on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok. Current prices are on pricing and Teams.

  • Seats: 2 to 1,000 when you buy online. For more, use Talk to sales on the Teams page.
  • The owner (the person who pays) uses one of the seats.
  • One plan and one invoice for the whole team, paid monthly or yearly.
  • New teams start with a 14-day free trial. Cancel in the billing portal before it ends and nothing is charged.
  • You can also start from the Teams card on the Pricing page. Its Get Started button opens the same order page.

Questions people ask

How do I buy AI Toolbox for my team?

Open the AI Toolbox Teams page at ai-toolbox.co/teams, choose monthly or annual billing, pick your number of seats and click the Start with button. Tick the terms box on the order page and pay in the secure checkout window. You become the team owner and get your admin login by email.

Is there a free trial for AI Toolbox Teams?

Yes. New AI Toolbox Teams plans start with a 14-day free trial when you check out. You can invite your team and use every feature during the trial. The first charge comes when the trial ends, and you can cancel from the billing portal before then to pay nothing.

What is the minimum number of seats for AI Toolbox Teams?

An AI Toolbox Teams plan needs at least 2 seats, and you can buy up to 1,000 seats yourself on the Teams page. The owner who pays uses one seat. For more than 1,000 seats, or if you need a pilot or special paperwork, use the Talk to sales form.

Do my teammates need to buy anything?

No. With AI Toolbox Teams the owner pays for every seat. Teammates get an invite email from the admin dashboard, click the button in it, and Premium turns on in their browser. They never see a checkout and never need a password for AI Toolbox.

Does AI Toolbox Teams include ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro?

No. AI Toolbox Teams is not an AI subscription. It unlocks the AI Toolbox extension on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok for every seat. Each teammate keeps using their own AI accounts, free or paid, and AI Toolbox adds folders, search, exports and a shared prompt library on top.

Can I change the number of Teams seats later?

Yes. The owner can add or remove AI Toolbox Teams seats at any time from the Seats page of the admin dashboard, using the Adjust Seats box. You can't go below the number of people on your team plus invites still waiting, and you can't go below 2 seats.
