Step 1: Find the bookmark icon under an answer
Under each ChatGPT answer there is a row of small icons, like copy. AI Toolbox adds a bookmark icon to that row, just before ChatGPT's three dots.
For older answers the row is hidden. Move your mouse over the answer to show it.
You should see: A bookmark icon. When you point at it, it says Bookmark.
Step 2: Click the bookmark icon
Click the bookmark icon under the answer you want to keep.
You should see: The message Message successfully bookmarked!, the answer highlighted in yellow, and a filled bookmark icon.
Step 3: Open your bookmarks
At the top of the chat, to the left of ChatGPT's Share button, there is a bookmark icon with a small number. The number is how many bookmarks this chat has. Click it.
You should see: A window called Bookmarks with the This chat tab picked and your saved answers listed.
No bookmark icon at the top? When space is tight, AI Toolbox puts its buttons into one button called AI Toolbox tools. Click it, then click Bookmarks.
Step 4: Add a color or a note (optional)
Each bookmark has a row of colored dots. Click a dot to give it that color. Bookmarks with the same color are grouped together.
Click Add note under the answer preview to write a short note. For a long answer, scroll down in the window to reach it. A small box from your browser opens. Type your note and click OK.
You should see: Your bookmark under a color heading like Blue, with your note shown above it.
Step 5: Jump to a bookmark
Click the answer's preview in the Bookmarks window.
You should see: The window closes, the page scrolls to that answer, and it flashes so you can spot it.
Step 6: See bookmarks from all your chats
In the Bookmarks window, click All chats. Your bookmarks are grouped by chat. Type in the Search bookmarks... box to find one.
Click a bookmark to open its chat and jump to that answer.
You should see: A list of every bookmark with its chat title, for example 2 bookmarks across 2 conversations.

If something doesn't look right
I don't see the bookmark icon
Bookmarks go on ChatGPT's answers, not on your own messages. Move your mouse over the answer to show its row of icons. If the icon is still missing, refresh the page.
A window says Bookmark without limits
The free plan includes 2 bookmarks in total across all chats. The bar in the Bookmarks window shows how many you have used, for example 2/2 bookmarks used across all chats. Click All chats, remove a bookmark you no longer need, or upgrade to Premium for unlimited bookmarks.
How do I remove a bookmark?
Click the filled bookmark icon under the answer again (it says Unbookmark). Or click the remove icon next to it in the Bookmarks window. You see Message successfully unbookmarked!
It says Could not reach that message
AI Toolbox could not find that answer in the chat. It may have been deleted, or the chat was edited so the answer changed. Remove the old bookmark and add a new one.

The free plan includes 2 bookmarks in total, across all your chats. Colors, notes and the All chats list are free. Premium gives you unlimited bookmarks.
