How to bookmark Grok answers and find them later

AI Toolbox adds a bookmark button under every Grok answer. Click it to save that answer, and give it a color if you like. To find it later, click the round button in the bottom-right corner, then Bookmarks, and click Open. Grok opens the chat and scrolls to the answer. The free plan saves 2 bookmarks. Premium is unlimited.

Step by step

  1. Find the bookmark button under a Grok answer

    Move your mouse over one of Grok's answers. Under it is a row of small buttons, like thumbs up and thumbs down. AI Toolbox adds a bookmark button right after the thumbs down.

    The button is only on Grok's answers, not on your own messages.

    You should see: A bookmark button that says Bookmark this message when you point at it.

  2. Bookmark the answer

    Click the bookmark button.

    You should see: The bookmark button fills in and the answer gets a light outline. A Color button appears next to it.

  3. Add a color (optional)

    Click the Color button (a small tag icon) next to the bookmark. Pick one of the 6 colors, for example Red for important.

    To take the color off, open it again and click Remove color.

    You should see: The answer's outline and its bookmark button change to the color you picked.

  4. Open your bookmarks

    Click the round button in the bottom-right corner, then Bookmarks. You can also click the bookmark button AI Toolbox adds near the top-right corner of the Grok page.

    Click a color at the top of the window to see only bookmarks with that color. Click All to see them all again.

    You should see: A window called Bookmarks with a short preview of each saved answer and its chat title.

  5. Jump back to a saved answer

    Click Open next to a bookmark. Grok opens that chat and scrolls to the answer.

    You should see: The saved answer, briefly highlighted, in its chat.

  6. Remove a bookmark

    Click the X next to a bookmark in the Bookmarks window, or click the filled bookmark button under the answer again.

    You should see: The bookmark disappears from the list. If none are left, it says No bookmarks yet.

If something doesn't look right

An upgrade window opened when I bookmarked an answer

The free plan saves 2 bookmarks. Remove one you no longer need in the Bookmarks window, or upgrade to Premium for unlimited bookmarks.

I don't see a bookmark button under an answer

Move your mouse over Grok's answer so its row of buttons shows. The bookmark is only on Grok's answers, not on your messages. If it is still missing, wait until Grok finishes answering, or refresh the page.

A bookmark shows Untitled chat or does not open

It was probably saved on the other site. grok.com and X keep separate chats, so open the bookmark from the same site where you saved it.

Can I bookmark my own messages?

No. On Grok, AI Toolbox bookmarks are for Grok's answers only.
