How to tell AI Toolbox items apart in Grok's menus

AI Toolbox adds a few items to Grok's own menus, such as Carry this chat forward and Export. Each one ends with a small toolbox mark, the same icon as the round AI Toolbox button. If a row has the mark, it comes from AI Toolbox. If it has none, it is Grok's own. There is nothing to set up.

Step by step

  1. Open a chat's menu

    On grok.com, move your mouse over a chat in the list on the left. Click the three dots that appear next to it.

    Carry this chat forward and Export end with the small toolbox mark. They come from AI Toolbox.

    You should see: Two marked rows at the bottom of the menu.

    Hold your mouse over a marked row and a small label says AI Toolbox.

  2. Leave the rest to Grok

    Rows without the mark, such as Open new tab, Rename, Pin and Delete, are Grok's own. AI Toolbox does not change them.

    You should see: Grok's own rows work as they always did.

If something doesn't look right

I do not see the mark

Refresh the Grok page so the latest AI Toolbox loads, then open the menu again. The mark is only on items AI Toolbox adds to Grok's menus. Windows and lists that belong to AI Toolbox itself, such as the folder list, have no mark, because everything in them is ours.

A menu has two items with almost the same name

Look at the end of each row. The one with the toolbox mark is from AI Toolbox, and the one without it is Grok's own. Both work. Pick the one you mean: ours saves to AI Toolbox, and Grok's works inside Grok.
